Each team is required to designate a player as a Team Representative.  The Team Representative will act on behalf of his team as a conduit to the league.
TEAM CAPTAINS:
A TEAM CAPTAIN will be designated with the referees and the timekeeper at the start of each game.  The team captain does not necessarily need to be the team rep but must take on captain responsibilities during the game of addressing the officials on issues and concerns that arise during the game. Players other than team captains with concerns about the conduct of a particular game should address their concerns to the designated captain, not the on-ice officials.  Inappropriate comments to officials will not be tolerated, and will be addressed as on-ice infractions and potentially as disciplinary matters.
JERSEYS:
Team colors must be approved in advance by the League Director to avoid duplication.  Players on each team must have same color jerseys, each with a different number.  NUMBERS MUST APPEAR ON SIGN-IN SHEETS – NO EXCEPTIONS.
ROSTERS:
Rosters MUST BE COMPLETED prior to each game with photo ID proof of age, 25 players MAXIMUM.  PLAYERS MUST BE 18 OR OVER WITHIN THE SEASON.  Goalies MUST be at least 18 years of age.  Rosters will be CLOSED on July 1, 2011, unless approved by the majority of team representatives.  For players to be eligible for play-off they MUST have participated in 5 regular season games.  Exceptions will be considered for injured players.  Any roster additions or substitutions must present themselves at the desk for identity verification.  Opposing teams may choose to challenge the eligibility of a player by presenting their concern to the referee(s) and/or scorer/timer. Challenged teams may be notified before, during, or immediately after the game, so that in the event of such a challenge, the challenged player can prove eligibility.  If this does condition is not met, the challenged team forfeits the game.
TIMEKEEPER:
It is the responsibility of the timekeeper to make sure that a TEAM CAPTAIN is noted on game sheets prior to each game.  The timekeeper is to ask the referee for specifics on penalties and any other infractions that may arise during the game.  An Official Infraction sheet must be signed by the referee and TEAM CAPTAIN at the conclusion of each game. The off-ice scorer/timer will facilitate this.
FORFEITS:
Any team that forfeits will be responsible for full payment of ice & officials/timekeeper fees FOR BOTH TEAMS.
